CITB Construction Skills

For registered employers, CITB Construction Skills collects levy and offers grants for training.  Registered companies with the CITB-Construction Skills which have met the full criteria of the grant are able to claim for an A09 – Technical and Professional Attendance grant for approved off-the-job training courses such as the NEBOSH National General Certificate and NEBOSH Construction Certificate. 

ELCAS (Enhanced Learning Credits)       

The MOD's Enhanced Learning Credits Scheme (ELC) promotes lifelong learning amongst members of the Armed Forces. The ELC scheme provides financial support in the form of one single up-front payment in each of a maximum of three separate financial years. You are reminded that ELC funding is only available for pursuit of higher level learning i.e. for courses that result in a nationally recognised qualification at Level three or above on the National Qualifications Framework (NQF) (England and Wales), a Level six or above on the Scottish Credit and Qualifications Framework (SCQF) or, if pursued overseas, an approved international equivalent qualification.

The Skills Funding Agency is a Government initiative that works in partnership with the Department for Business Innovation and Skills.
